DUCT CLEANING
Most property owners do not even think about what goes on inside their home's air ducts. But the truth is that they can be filled with years of accumulated dirt and debris, and allergens like pollen, dust and pet dander. The common industry recommendation is that air ducts be inspected every 2 years for cleanliness, and that they be cleaned, on average, every 5 to 7 years.
Cleaning air ducts regularly helps to improve the indoor air quality in homes and businesses, and enhance the efficiency of heating/cooling systems, which in turn can help to reduce energy bills. Clean, efficient systems are less likely to break down, have a longer life span, and generally operate more effectively than dirty systems.
Source Removal Method
The EPA recommends the Source Removal method of cleaning, and says that is the most "...effective way to clean air ducts and ventilation systems." This method requires placing the system under negative pressure, through the use of a specialized, powerful vacuum.
This the process that we use in duct cleaning. It is very different from the 'brush methods' that are out there. The use of a brush mechanism is much less effective and often much more expensive. We strongly advise against 'brush cleaning' air ducts.
Our Process
We start by doing a thorough pre-inspection of the air duct system. The customer will be informed of the air duct cleaning services needed and the cost of the service before it will be performed.
Once on site our technicians will clean all registers and grilles, clean the entire air duct system using the source removal method recommended by the EPA. Zone-off particular areas as needed, to ensure that the entire system is cleaned properly. Remove all dirt and debris to our containment system.

ODOR REMOVAL
When there is an unpleasant odor in a home or commercial structure, it is almost never just in the carpet. Foul odors are absorbed by all of the surfaces in a room. This includes the walls, ceiling, upholstery, drapes, furniture, mattresses, clothing, and even wood. Whether you want to get rid of that pungent skunk odor that your dog brought in, or deodorize a home to make it more "salable", Duraclean Restoration Specialist can help. The goal of any odor removal process is not simply to "mask" the odor, but to effectively neutralize it at its source. Duraclean Restoration Specialist uses a combination of methods to ensure that odors are completely eliminated from the structure.
Through the use of Ozone and Hot Thermal Fogging processes, there is no odor we cannot get rid of.
Ozone - This is a powerful oxidizer that breaks down odor molecules and converts them into water vapor and other odorless, harmless gases without leaving a perfume or any residue. Ozone permanently kills odors and germs through oxidation and is effective for removing harsh odors from smoke, mold, and pet and animal odors just to name a few. The oxidation process of an ozone treatment eliminates both the contamination and the source of the odor from all surfaces as well as the air.
Fogging - Thermal or "hot" fogging is a process which uses specialized fogging units to heat oil based fogging solutions. This process creates a light fog or mist. The mist is so fine that it can penetrate the porous surfaces that hold odor molecules. It is almost smoke-like and it will stay suspended longer than cold space sprays. Because the particle size is so small, the material is able to cover very large areas due to the deep penetration and long hang time. If you want that pesky, persistent odor gone for good...Duraclean Restoration Specialist is the odor removal contractor for you!
