SUMP PUMPS

sump pump failureSump pump failure is the most common cause of basement floods. The sump pump is the most integral part of any drainage system.

We use PHCC Pro Series AC pumps. They are rated for continuous duty, which means they are built to run continuously 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. The manufacturer backs these pumps with 2, 3 and 5-year warranties.

Dual Float Switch

dual float switchThe dual float switch the Pro Series line offers is the most reliable in the industry. Historically there have been three varieties of float switches: vertical, tethered and pressure. All three of these switches are subject to various forms of failure.

The PHCC Dual Float has, not one, but two floats mounted within a protective cage. Should one float fail to operate, the second float is available and ready to activate the pump. The protective cage prevents debris or other wires from interfering with movement of the floats.

Battery Back Up Sump Pumps

No AC sump pump will work if the power goes out. For added protection and peace of mind, we always recommend that you install a battery backup sump pump system, in addition to a primary AC sump pump.

We use the PHCC Pro Series back up sump pumps. They have a unique monitoring system that sounds an alarm when maintenance is needed, or when a problem arises. After all, a backup sump pump system with a dead battery, loose cables, or a clogged pump is like having no backup at all.

The PHCC Pro Series backup sump pumps monitor all these functions and remind you when attention is needed. The electronic monitoring unit can also be tied into many home alarm systems.
